She was interim CEO of CandyHouse and CyteSi. Since 2012, she has involved with more than 260 investments mostly in seed and Series A, with 17 unicorns and over 35 companies with valuation higher than $100M, including Chime, Rippling, Grail(acquired by Illumina), Webflow, Weee, DFINITY, Replit, Oasis Labs, OmiseGo, Turing, Wyze, GetAccept, Guesty, Avail MedSystems, Instawork, Wetravel, StarRocks, Karbon Card, Unbabel, and WriteSonic.
Dr. Sue Xu began her early stage entrepreneurship when she was the founding scientist of GlycoMira (also involved in undergrad and PhD laboratory spin-offs). She has three patents and over 20 journal publications, and previously was a medical school researcher at Stanford University.

Ines is a tax partner in the M&A Transaction Services in Canada. She has almost 20 years of experience providing Canadian tax advisory services.
She has led many Canadian inbound and outbound mergers and acquisitions projects, including tax due diligence, acquisition structuring, divestitures, cross-border financing, tax-efficient repatriation, Canadian internal reorganizations, and intellectual property planning. She has worked with both public and private clients to ensure a smooth and value-add tax experience.
Her industry experience includes financial services, real estate, retail, technology and private equity, among others. Her selected financial services and private equity clients include Blackstone, TPG Capital, Vertu Capital, Maverix Private Equity.
Ines is a Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, Canada. She has a Master of Taxation degree, standing first in the program and recipient of the Canadian Tax Foundation Scholar’s award, from University of Waterloo. She also graduated with high distinction from the Bachelor of Commerce program from University of Toronto.
Joyce Dai, CPA, CA
Partner, M&A Advisory, Deloitte LLP
Joyce has over 20 years of experience as a M&A advisor leading comprehensive advisory services across the M&A cycle and various continents.
Joyce supports buyers and sellers in making informed deal decisions, such as financial and accounting due diligence, synergy identification, deal pricing, deal execution and TSA monitoring.
Joyce has leveraged her experiences to lead over 300 transactions, many of which spanned across North America, Europe and Asia. She also advised on transactions with complex dynamics, including carve-out deals, due diligence leverage data analytics, and privatization from the US and Hong Kong stock markets.
Joyce focuses on sectors that are tech enabled, including consumer tech, health tech and business services. Her selected private equity clients include TPG Capital, KKR Capital, and Warburg Pincus Private Equity.
Joyce graduated from Simon Fraser University with Distinction in Accounting and Finance. Joyce is a Canadian CPA, CA.
