David Dai began his career at Clearhouse LLP, a regional accounting and advisory firm in Mississauga, where he delivered assurance and accounting advisory services to both public companies and private enterprises across a wide range of industries, including transportation, biotechnology, utility and energy, mining and exploration, financial services, food and beverage, and cannabis.

He now focuses his practice on valuations and transaction advisory, with experience advising corporate and individual clients on valuation and M&A engagements across a diverse range of assignments. This includes advising clients on mergers and acquisitions transactions, valuations for financial reporting, tax re-organizations, family law matters, capital raising, and the valuation of complex financial instruments.

 
Richard Meng

Co-founder of MyDreamFinance

Richard brings 10+ years of experience across financial leadership, capital raising, and strategic advisory, supporting high-growth Canadian small-to-medium and founder-led businesses.

As a former CFO of a national Canadian wholesale company, he scaled operations from 10 to 50+ employees, built financial and operational infrastructure, and drove multi-million-dollar revenue growth within four years.

His experience spans M&A, financial modeling, and capital strategy. He previously worked as a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst at FirePower Capital and a Business Consulting Manager at MNP LLP, advising clients on transactions, financing, and growth initiatives.

Richard is also the co-founder of MyDreamFinance, a boutique CFO advisory firm providing fractional CFO services, accounting and bookkeeping oversight, valuation and financial modeling, FP&A, and capital raising solutions for scaling businesses across Canada.
