Jin Wen

As a Tax Partner in Grant Thornton’s Toronto office, Jin is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and has completed all levels of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course. Jin’s comprehensive tax knowledge and ability to strategically analyze situations provides bespoke tax solutions for the clients. In the area of Canadian taxation, Jin develops tax planning strategies for income splitting, loss utilization, tax minimization, mergers & acquisitions, corporate reorganization, trusts, and estate planning.

As a member of the Board of Governors of the Canadian Tax Foundation and a former Chair of the Canadian Tax Foundation’s Young Practitioner Steering Committee (Toronto chapter), Jin has worked tirelessly to further the professional development and fellowship for her colleagues in the tax community. Jin has also contributed to tax education by working as a facilitator, tutor, and group study leader for the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course.
