Are You Really Ready for the New Lease Accounting?

Effective on or after January 1, 2019, the IFRS 16 Leases standard replaces IAS 17 Leases. The new standard requires a different approach to lessee accounting which will have the biggest impact on many companies, especially those who accounted for their leases as operating leases under IAS 17.

As a part of our professional development objectives, Canadian-Chinese Professional Accountants Association (CCPAA) is hosting a seminar on IFRS 16 updates to help you familiarize with the new standard. This Seminar is designed for accounting professionals who have the needs and interests in getting the latest updates on IFRS 16 Leases.
