Canadian-Chinese Professional Accountants Association (CCPAA) is hosting a career planning information session on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Fairview Mall Library.
This information session is designed for accounting students, accounting professionals with less than three years’ experiences and/or new comers.

The information session is composed of 3 Sections:

How to analyze your talent, discover professional areas that you are truly interested in and design career path from the aspects of your character

Does Career planning matter? – Contemplation career in the social network settings

- Aahna Singh
Aahna Singh is a Program Facilitator with IWES program through ICTC. IWES is a program that is designed to empower newcomers to Canada who have an IT/ICT background to achieve their goals. This is accomplished through a variety of workshops that cover topics on job search preparation, corporate communication, Canadian workplace culture and one-on-one coaching and mentorship. With over 6 years of HR Experience, Aahna has excelled in her career as an Onboarding Specialist , HR Coordinator & Recruitment Manager, to name a few. Having graduated from Seneca College in the field of Human Resources, Aahna has always promoted and been a part of continuous growth. In her career, she has coached more than 250 individuals regarding how to present themselves successfully for interviews. She has always guided job seekers to apply an “outside of the box” thought process in their search towards fulfilling employment. She has attended various professional development programs at the Ivey Business School at Western University. Aahna is always looking to share her experiences and knowledge and assist job seekers to determine what their strengths are, to focus on them and market themselves from that perspective.
- Lois Wang
Lois Wang, a graduate from master of Industrial Relations and Human Resources program of University of Toronto. Lois has various work experience in HR field. She worked as a recruiter for Banking & Fortune 500 leading companies in GTA area. Lois also worked for Apple (USA) as an HR intern to help them hire Mandarin-speaking candidates and improved their HR policy. Lois specializes in character analysis and matching the top talents with the right position.
- Chris Zhang, Ph.D candidate, MBA, CHRL
Chris Zhang is currently a Ph.D candidate in Human Resource Management at York University. Prior to his academia life, Chris has been work in various Human Resource positions in several multinational corporations over 10 years, Vice President at D Mobile Inc (USA), National HR manager at Carrefour China HQ, Talent Acquisition Manager at Unilever China HQ, HR specialist at Coca-cola Pakistan. Over years of professional experiences in Human Resource field, Chris has been accumulated rich knowledge and insights on Career planning, Recruitment & Selection, Compensation & Benefits and Training etc. Chris also holds the CHRL (Certified Human Resource Leader) designation in Canada.
