IFRS & ASPE Updates Seminar

IFRS & ASPE Updates Seminar

Canadian-Chinese Professional Accountants Association (CCPAA) is hosting a seminar on IFRS & ASPE updates on Sunday, Apr. 10, 2016 at the North York Central Library.

Accounting professionals are required to keep their knowledge and skills current. CCPAA is helping Chinese Accounting Professionals achieve this goal by providing seminars on updates in CICA Handbook part I & II.

Seminar Overview

This Seminar is designed for accounting professionals work in firms and/or industries, and who have the needs and/or interests in getting the latest updates on IFRS and/or ASPE.

For the first section, the speaker will provide updates on IFRS. This information is especially useful for accounting professionals work in firms or public companies, as we all know AcSB is making annual improvements on accounting standards, some of which are major. CCPAA recommends these accounting professionals hearing and learning updates and comments from different resources, CCPAA seminar being one.

The second section will be updates on ASPE. AcSB is also making annual improvements on ASPE. Some changes may not be as significant as changes in IFRS; it is still recommendable for accounting professionals to get the latest updates.
